Can you work with my existing website? ＋
Yes. Send me the link and tell me what isn’t working. I’ll look at what can be improved before recommending a rebuild.
Will I be able to edit the website? ＋
Yes. Everyday changes, like updating text, adding an article or swapping an image, should be manageable. I’ll show you how before handing the website over.
How do we decide the scope? ＋
We start with what the website needs to do. Then I put the page list, features, responsibilities and quote in writing, so you know what you’re agreeing to.
Can we work through Upwork? ＋
Of course. You can hire me through Upwork or contact me directly. The work and communication still happen with me.
How much should I budget for a website? ＋
My website packages start at $500 for Starter, $1,000 for Business and $2,000 for Premium. I confirm the price after reviewing your pages and features. Hosting, domain names and paid licences are separate.
How long will my project take? ＋
It depends on the page count, features and how ready your content is. We agree a realistic schedule before work begins, including time for your feedback. If you have a launch date, tell me at the start.
What do you need from me before we start? ＋
Your goals, service information, logo and any photos or copy you already have. For a redesign, send the current website link. I will outline what else is needed before asking for the relevant account access.
Will the website work properly on mobile? ＋
Yes. I check the navigation, spacing, forms and key actions on smaller screens as part of the build. The mobile layout gets its own attention rather than simply shrinking the desktop version.
Is SEO included? ＋
The agreed scope can include page titles, descriptions, heading structure, image optimisation and analytics. If you need an ongoing SEO campaign or a migration plan, we can scope that separately.
Who owns the website when it is finished? ＋
Your website and business accounts should stay under your control. At handover, you get the access and guidance needed to manage your content. Any ongoing third-party subscriptions are clearly listed.
Can you help after launch? ＋
Yes. We can arrange updates, troubleshooting or ongoing maintenance around what you need. Additional work is agreed in advance, either as a fixed task or at my $25 hourly rate.
